SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS 12 PM - 6 PM

In February 2012, we opened our new, small tasting room here on the vineyard. Made of stone and cedar timber gathered from the LD3 Ranch, complete with a 100-year-old clay tile roof, it captures a “Provence meets Texas Hill Country” feel. The proprietor Lewis Dickson has spent considerable time in various French wine regions and brought his memories back to life with this project. We are normally open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12-6 PM. If the “Winery Open” sign is posted out on the highway, we’re open. If it’s not posted, we’re not open. Sometimes we will be closed when, for example, a holiday falls on a weekend or unforeseen circumstances prevent us from being open on a given day. In that case, we try to post notice of that on Facebook and/or our website. So, it’s a good idea to check that before coming out.

Four wines of varying varietals and styles are offered for a tasting fee of $25 per person, waived with the purchase of three or more bottles per person. The tasting menu often changes, depending on availability or just to mix things up a bit.

Our goal is for visitors to have personalized and memorable tasting room experiences; to foster a personal association with this region, this place, this vineyard, this wine and the story behind it all. With that in mind, large buses and RV’s are discouraged. During the week, or after 6 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, there is the possibility of having a private tasting by appointment. See Private Tastings by appointment.

Please, no smoking anywhere on the premises. Gentlemen, please no cologne or after shave; ladies, please no perfume. Such fragrances not only interfere with smelling, tasting and evaluating wine, but many people are allergic to them. We must be considerate of others.

Animal lovers that we are, for a number of reasons, it’s best that you not bring your pets here with you. If you do, please do not turn them loose on the premises or bring them into the tasting room.
